I’m a software architect by training and experience and today I’m fortunate to be the CTO at Endava. I’ve worked in a wide variety of technical jobs in the software development field since the early 1990s. 'Green' Software
In the last couple of years I have become very interested in the idea of so called 'green' software, that is software which minimises the greenhouse gas emissions that it creates. Having explored at this area for a couple of years (including work as part of my PhD) I'm becoming doubtful that much of the current activity in this area is really going to have much impact. For what it's worth, I recently shared my doubts on the Endava blog.
